The Team
The Team
The Bamboo Body team consists of professionals who have dedicated their lives to learning about their craft from the best possible source and who are digging into the very core of it by applying the knowledge into many hours of physical practice. Our goal is to bring our students to the profound understanding of how their body works and open them the vast horizon of movement perspective. Each member of the team is here to resolve questions that might occur along the way and to help you find the approach that works best for you in order to guide you in creating your own movement practice.
Anna
Anna
Anna is the founder of this facility and a leading teacher with extensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. She has studied Sports Science in Russia and has background experiences in a wide variety of sports. The list includes competitive athletics (short-distance sprinting), Thai boxing, wushu, surf, and motocross. Since 2014 and to this day Anna is studying under Ido Portal and his team, deepening her knowledge of the human body and the relationship of an individual to their environment through a generalist movement approach. The way of practice and philosophy proposed by Ido Portal are the main guiding principles of her work. Besides general movement education, Anna is focused on applying the movement approach as a rehabilitation tool following both neurological (stroke, traumatic brain injury) and soft tissue injuries.
Daniel
Daniel
Daniel got into the movement practice relatively late in life. He began with calisthenics at the age of 30 and after a couple of years switched to more thoughtful ways of developing his physical awareness. His practice nowadays is guided by Ido Portal and his team, Dani has been a student of movement since 2018. He is one of the most dedicated people you can find, and we are honored to have him devoting a great deal of his time to the development and administration of our facility. Without Daniel, turning our ideas into reality would be impossible.
